As a nonpartisan organization, the Urban Land Institute has long been recognized as one of America’s most respected and widely quoted sources of objective information on urban planning, growth and development.
Our members form a spectrum of land use and development disciplines, including developers, builders, investors, designers, public officials, planners, real estate brokers, attorneys, engineers, lenders, academics and students.
As one of the most progressive and active chapters in the organization, ULI Michigan provides a wide array of events, programming and initiatives designed to lead industry change. Many of our programs were created by ULI members and have been so successful at filling a need in the real estate industry that they have been adopted by other chapters around the country.
One of ULI Michigan’s overarching goals is to drive diversity in all aspects of the real estate industry by providing leadership opportunities, initiatives and programs designed to support women, young professionals and people of color. By providing educational forums, community outreach programs and industry expertise to community leaders, the opportunity to influence local land use policy continues to be the focus and achievement of our district council.
ULI Michigan provides numerous opportunities for real estate professionals at any stage of their career to get involved, whether in a leadership position on our District Council, as an advisor on one of our committees, or as a participant in our frequent engaging industry events.
