The ULI Michigan WLI chapter is excited to continue the BUILD UP Breakfast Clubs, an initiative that empowers women in real estate to build better communities together. Launched in 2018, the program fosters meaningful connections, conversation, and collaboration among women in the industry. This year, the initiative has expanded nationally, with additional ULI District Councils—New York, Atlanta, and Tampa Bay—joining Michigan to host program days. We look forward to continuing the program’s growth in the coming years.

BUILD UP Breakfast Clubs are hosted in multiple in-person locations, including Marquette, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Ann Arbor, and Detroit, as well as in other U.S. cities through the participating District Councils. The program provides opportunities for small groups of women to build lasting relationships, strengthen regional networks, and engage meaningfully with others in their field. Each group meets four times per year, led by a local WLI champion.

Participants benefit from live content, including panels and interactive keynotes. Discussions focus on topics relevant to women in real estate, with content guided by WLI members. Following each presentation, attendees engage in deeper discussions to share insights and foster genuine connections. Through this growing initiative, ULI aims to connect women nationwide, creating space for professional growth and community building.
