DETROIT, MICH.- Feb. 28, 2019 —

The Urban Land Institute (ULI) of Michigan will host the inaugural Spring Real Estate Summit on April 29-30 at COBO Center in Detroit.

Drawing real estate professionals from across the region, the conference will focus on critical industry topics such as urban regeneration, mixed-use developments, and real estate market trends. The event will feature prominent keynote speakers, roundtable discussions and dynamic concurrent sessions. Additionally, the event will provide exclusive tours to new and unique projects across the city. Tours require separate event tickets and registration.

“It is a pleasure to bring the first-ever Spring Summit to Detroit,” said Jill Ferrari, CEO at Shelborne Development and Vice Chair of ULI Michigan. “We see this conference as a great opportunity to continue building momentum in Detroit following last year’s successful national meeting. We look forward to providing critical industry insight and networking opportunities, as well as broadening the diversity of panel topics and the presenters themselves as part of our overall commitment to increased diversity in the real estate industry.”

The event will serve as the springboard to launch the ULI Product Councils, a new program for local members in specific land-use disciplines to study issues in depth and network with knowledgeable Michigan professionals. The program will provide intensive, high quality programming created to emulate ULI’s National Product Council Program.ULI Michigan will have three Local Product Councils focused on Housing and Community Development, Small Scale Development, and Real Estate and Technology.

The Spring Summit is geared toward real estate developers, investors, government officials, academics, architects, urban planners, and other service providers. The conference is open to ULI members and non-members.
