Strong business development professional with a Bachelor's Degree focused in Public Administration & Public Policy from Michigan State University and a Master's Degree in Economics from Walsh College.

    Tosha Tabron

    Invest Detroit

    I joined the financial services industry 20 years ago and have moved through the sector deploying philanthropic and/or loan capital to support commercial real estate, housing and small business development. In all these areas my enthusiasm to problem solve, develop strategies, execute and collaborate has helped me build social capital through the Midwest especially in the Detroit region. In my current role I get to focus on my hometown, creatively mobilizing money to help build neighborhood market dynamics all while supporting women and minority enterprises. I work with mission driven professionals committed to job creation and catalytic development in distressed areas of the city.     Barry Swatsenbarg

    Executive Vice President - Investment and Loan Sale Advisory, Colliers International

    Barry has over 19 years of experience with the acquisition and disposition of investment properties. His experience includes all property types of investment real estate. He currently directs his investment and note sale division which is active in 10 states and is comprised of six people. The investment division handles the on-going requests for BOV’s for various corporate and private clients. Barry is routinely engaged to help marry the business plan of ownership with the ideal strategic plan of the real estate to maximize value upon disposition. Barry has over 10 years’ experience in servicing CMBS related REO and receivership dispositions.

    Mitchell Roschelle

    Partner and Business Development Leader, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP

    Mitch is a Partner at PwC, and currently serves as one of the firm’s Business Development Leaders. He was a founder of PwC’s Real Estate Advisory practice, and has over 35 years of experience serving a wide array of real estate investors, foreign and domestic. Mitch is a widely-recognized commentator on real estate, housing, business trends, capital markets, the retail industry and the economy. He is a frequent public speaker, and a regular guest and panel member on Fox Business Network, and Bloomberg TV and Radio. He is the co-publisher of Emerging Trends in Real Estate, a widely-circulated global annual market forecast. An active proponent of corporate social responsibility, Mitch serves as a trustee of the PwC Charitable Foundation, where he leads its grant-making efforts in youth education and financial literacy. Additionally, Mitch is a member of the Board of Directors of PENCIL. He resides in Armonk, New York, with his wife Debbie and their college-age twin sons, and their golden retriever Charlie.
