National ULI experts address “Tactical Preservation” in Detroit at Annual Meeting

Our Annual Meeting this August took a focused look at how to salvage Detroit’s historic and culturally significant buildings through “tactical preservation.” Featuring ULI members from around the country for a weeklong thinktank, the meeting provided an expert panel and initial summary of recommendations for preserving the city’s architectural character by identifying adaptive reuse opportunities for vacant historic buildings in neighborhoods across the city.
