ULI Small Scale Developer Forum 2017: Made in Detroit
The Urban Land Institute’s Spring 2017 Small Scale Developers Forum is coming to Detroit, June 5-6, 2017. For the past five years this program has examined first hand the transformative power of ‘Small’ in nine different cities. Detroit, an emerging center of re-invention, re-birth and real estate entrepreneurialism, will be the site of our 10th Small Scale Developers Forum.
The Made in Detroit program will include walking tours, energizing personal panel discussions, and plenty of networking opportunities with fellow Real Estate Entrepreneurs. Additionally, this program will include a deep focus into the world of Co-Working, Urban Manufacturing and Maker Spaces – uses that are driving neighborhood reinvention and creating unique reuse opportunities for older buildings and fine grained neighborhoods. Speakers from Detroit and Brooklyn NY, as well as new research from Preservation GreenLab will be featured in this portion of the program.
Exceptional networking opportunities include luncheons and a cocktail reception and dinner where attendees will have the opportunity to get to know other attendees and panelists in an informal atmosphere while you build your long term network of resources.
Tours will include Midtown Detroit and a portfolio review of Bedrock Detroit’s considerable investment and bet to restore downtown Detroit to its former glory. Tour details and speakers to be announced soon!
