The Second Annual ULI Michigan Meeting
On September 14, 2017, join fellow ULI Michigan members for the Second Annual ULI Michigan Meeting. The event will take place from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Detroit Historical Museum in midtown Detroit, and will feature keynotes from District Council Chair Robert Schostak, as well as the presentation of the second annual ULI Michigan Member Awards, and all attendees will receive a copy of the FY17 ULI Michigan Annual Report.
ULI Member Awards
ULI Michigan will be presenting the First Annual Member Awards in the following award categories:
Outstanding Leadership Award
The ULI Michigan Outstanding Leadership Award recognizes a local member, who through his or her involvement in the Urban Land Institute has come to embody the Mission of ULI; providing leadership in the responsible use of land, and in creating and sustaining thriving communities in Michigan.
Women’s Leadership Initiative Elevation Award
The Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Elevation Award recognizes a local member of ULI (female or male) who embodies Mission of WLI, and through his or her work, sponsors and promotes the advancement of women as leaders in the real estate industry, proactively identifies talent in professional women, and supports the development of women members as leaders in ULI and in their professions.
Young Visionary Award
The ULI Michigan Young Visionary Award recognizes an outstanding Young Leader in the development and land use fields, whose work sets the bar for career advancement, goal-setting, community service, leadership and a strong commitment to ULI’s principles of land use, and who through participation in ULI has come to embody the Mission of the Urban Land Institute, providing leadership in the responsible use of land, and in creating and sustaining thriving communities in Michigan.
Community Builder Award
The ULI Michigan Community Builder Award recognizes a local member working in the Non-Profit/Foundation/Public sector, who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills through his or her work creating and sustaining thriving communities in Michigan, and through participation in ULI has come to embody the Mission of the Urban Land Institute.
